The following industry recognised qualifications are available for both Version 2 and Version 3 courses. Note that a Credit scheme is now in place for all Version 2 and Version 3 Exams. 22 credits will result in the new ITIL Expert qualification being awarded. The quickest way to achieve the Expert is by passing the Version 2 Manager’s Exam and then taking the Version 3 Manager’s Bridge Course which will result in the 22 credits required. Attaining the Expert via pure Version 3 Courses will not be possible for a while as many of the new courses are still under development. The advantage of the Credits is that Version 2 exams count towards the Expert. The credits per course are as follows: Version 2 Foundation 1.5 Version 3 Foundation 2.0 * - Courses not yet available 1. For Version 2, the ISEB Service Management Foundation certificate can be gained via the Version 2 Foundation course. This is a 40 question, one hour multiple choice examination with a 65% or 26/40 pass mark. Attending the Version 2 Manager's Service Support and Service Delivery courses entitles the delegate to sit the two three hour exams for the ISEB Service Management Manager's Certificate (the 'Red Badge'). 5 questions on each paper need to be answered and the pass mark is 50% per paper. 2. With Version 3, the following exams are available: - The ISEB Version 3 Foundation certificate can be gained with attendance on the Version 3 Foundation course. Like Version 2, this is a 40 question, one hour multiple choice examination with a 65% or 26/40 pass mark. - To attain the Version 3 Foundation Bridge Certificate, delegates need to sit a 30 minute, 20 question exam for which the pass mark is 65% or 13/20. Other qualifications are expected to be announced in 2008. Sign up for our newsletter to find out about the new courses.

I would just like to compliment you on the training offered. Management courses can sometimes be a little 'sterile'. However, I found the course both enjoyable and, from a real time perspective, offered me some practical ways forward in how I support IT.
