Version 2 ITIL Courses
Version 2 training focuses on the operational management and delivery of IT through the Service Delivery and Service Support concepts. It creates service focussed IT by concentrating on the business requirements for higher availability, reduced costs and better management of risk.

The training is for staff that need to understand, implement or improve their Production environment. Vitil Training offers the following courses:

- The ITIL Version 2 Foundation Course (code ITSMF) introduces the ten processes and one function at the heart of Version 2. Students can sit the Foundation exam and return to work with practical knowledge on how to improve IT.

- We also do an intensive 2 day Version 2 Foundation course (code ITFAST) for more experienced delegates. Check availability and book here.

- The ITIL Version 2 Practitioners' courses are 3 day courses specialising in specific disciplines and are designed for staff undertaking specific jobs. Courses are available covering:

Service Desk and Incident Management
Change Management
Problem Management
Release Management
Configuration Management
Service Level Management

- The ITIL Version 2 Managers Course consists of two 5 day courses focussing on the processes in Service Delivery and Service Support. It is ideal for staff with several years IT experience and leads to the ITIL Manager’s 'Red Badge' qualification.

We also offer an Awareness course as an introduction to ITIL concepts and principles.

Version 2 courses are valid until at least December 2009 and are an excellent way to achieve practical knowledge and industry recognised qualifications.

With the new Foundation and Managers’ Bridge courses, Version 2 training is an ideal way to quickly and effectively gain the new Version 3 'Expert' qualification. Companies should concentrate on Version 2 unless a broader, more holistic view of designing and delivering IT services is needed in which case the new Version 3 courses should be selected.
